According to a Rand research study on Legalize Cannabis, the people of Vermont consumed between 15 to 25 metric tons of cannabis in 2014 alone, worth between $125 million and $225 million. Although those numbers are ridiculously high, two groups are at odds over whether to Legalize Cannabis for recreational use in the state after a bill was introduced to decriminalize cannabis. State lawmakers could vote on the bill in 2016, which could put on the ballot in November.
